Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll/finance, including cooperation with external payroll providers (international environment experience is an advantage)
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Problem solving skills
  • Curiosity and growth mindset
  • Very good knowledge of Polish payroll regulations; experience in processing payroll in other European countries will be an asset
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and clear way
  • Very good English skills (daily cooperation with managers and teams abroad)
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Accuracy, accountability, and the ability to work under time pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in transport and logistics sector would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Optima would be an advantage

Your Tasks

  • About the Role - Driven by Egala’s dynamic expansion and operations across Europe, our international team is growing rapidly and we create a brand-new strategic position:
  • Responsibility for the accurate execution of payroll processes for employees across several countries (Poland, Romania, Moldova, Czech, Germany, UK)
  • Oversight and ownership of payroll calculation processes
  • Managing team - work planning, setting priorities, providing substantive support, and monitoring quality
  • Close co-operation with HR administration team, validating completeness and accuracy of payroll input
  • Close co-operation with the Finance Department regarding payroll process output - accounting entries, accruals, prepayments, and salary funding processes
  • Ensuring compliance of processes with local labor, tax, and social security regulations as well as internal procedures
  • Identifying irregularities, proposing improvements, and participating in projects related to payroll process optimization and standardization
  • Preparing payroll reports and analysis for the management
